McCain Campaign - West Coast View

George Condon of the Copley Newspaper Universe (and owner of the San Diego Tribune) is one of the most respected writers in Washington.

Here is his take on the McCain campaign which I offer up because I am liberally quoted throughout:

Is McCain poised for revival or exit?

I think we can all agree that McCain's campaign is - if not officially - unofficially finished.

I think he lost all his Mojo back in 2000. The past 7 years have not been good for his public image.

Veteran Republican operative?

noun -
1. A skilled worker, especially in industry.
2.(a. A secret agent; a spy. (b. A private investigator.

Which of those are you? None seem to fit.
Snort!

I'm just saying McCain at this point has approximately a 0% chance of gaining the Republican nomination.

The three undisputed front-runners are in no particular order:
1) Fred
2) Rudy
3) Mitt

The chances of all three campaigns imploding AND McCain's campaign finding some legs again are...(carry the 1)....nil.
