Alaska Travelogue - Chapter 2

I'm still not in Alaska but I'm getting closer. Take a look. It also has a link to the 42nd High School Reunion Travelogue which is somewhat less boring than this one.

Alaska Travlogue Chapter 2

I PROMISE I will actually get to Alaska. I will entertain you with stories and pictures.

Really. I will.

Rich,

I obviously confuse easily. How can you possibly not be in Alaska yet on Thursday when you reported you were in Seward in your post this past Sunday? While I understand you are wherever you are on a speaking engagement, not being there yet when you were there previously is beyond the normal capabilities of even the "Straight Talk Express" of recent and fond memory.

Really funny stuff, Rich. I too had a single (that is 1) date in high school and it was for the prom. Friends told me that Jean B., a really attractive girl by the way, did not have a date and that I should ask her. As I was the student body president I was advised by my friends, and by my parents, that I really ought to make an appearance at the prom and that a date was therefore obligitory. I have not seen Ms. Jean since high school days but my sister, Jean's classmate (they were a year behind) has kept up an acquaintance and is going to a mini gals reunion this week with Jean and a dozen or so others. I asked Sis to remind Jean of our "Big Date".

I have BEEN to Alaska. I was suggesting that the Travelogue would get to the Alaska portion of the trip in the next edition.

Delta Airlines may have emerged from bankruptcy by dumping pillows for their special passengers, Rich, but we peasants who fly the profitable Southwest Airlines have pillows available on our planes. Blankets, peanuts, and unassigned seating, too. Two out of four ain't bad.
