  • "... Six Months To Go ...": Here's the link to the Proposal to help your campaign win in November.

  • "... Permutations and Combinations ...": Here's a link to a math site which explains the formulae for determining Ps and Cs which I do not understand and have no desire to understand.

So don't e-mail me and attempt to implant, at this late stage, a math gene in my head.

  • "... Peck ...": A "peck" is a dry measure. Four pecks = a bushel. A bushel = eight dry gallons.

And, as you so well know, a bushel = 256 gills. A gill is a quarter of a pint.

How much more romantic would that song have sounded had the lyric been: "I love you, a bushel and a gill..."

  • "... Dann Scandal Timeline I ...": Here's the timeline of the early scandals from the Dayton Daily News webpage.

  • "... Dann Scandal Timeline II ...": Here's the timeline of the current scandal from the Columbus Dispatch website.

    Mullfoto of the Day

Left: How much it cost to fill the Mullmobile (1999 Land Rover Discovery, 120,000+ miles).

Right: How much it cost to fill the Skippy Scooter (2005 Qlink 150cc, water cooled motor scooter).

Ok the Discovery gets about 15 miles to the gallon and has a 25 gallon tank and so has a range of 375 miles. The Scooter gets about 65 miles to the gallon but has only a 2.15 gallon capacity for a range of about 140 miles.

Even so, it is psychologically calming to spend four dollars before the pump automatically shuts off.
