    Mullfoto of the Day

I took this photo of myself in the Delta Crown Room at the Atlanta Airport.

I was just a little surprised that at no point did the other people - who were watching me do this (glasses on, glasses off, smiling, frowning, etc.) - didn't alert the crack TSA folks to ask me some questions.

This is a plane which spent most of its life making 186 trips a day between Washington Reagan and LaGuardia; or between LaGuardia and Boston Logan airports. This very same plane which was used to making 45 minute trips, has been pressed into service as the 3 Hour, 15 Minute international flight between Puerto Vallerta and Atlanta.

    Catchy Caption of the Day

    Actual Caption:

Ears of corn are seen in a Monsanto-owned field in an undated file photo. When Monsanto Co. introduced the world to genetically modified crops a decade ago, the biotech advancement was heralded as the dawn of a new era that could reduce world hunger, help the environment and bolster struggling farmers.

In this case, demonstrating the dangers of genetic tinkering, the corn spontaneously morphed into an anti-aircraft battery.
