Can We Interest the IRS in Self Audits?
Monday July 16, 2001

  • TITLE: "Can We Interest the IRS in Self Audits?" It seems to me that Abbe Lowell has hit on something here. We can have the U.S. Government take our word for it that we qualify for some program or another, and the IRS should let us audit ourselves and simply report to them what we owe - or what they owe us!

  • "…selection of Beijing …" A big complaint about picking Beijing is, of course, that China's human rights record is not as high as, say Sudan or Uganda which are members of the UN Human Rights Commission which the United States is not.

  • "…Shasta County GOP in Redding, California" Gasoline in Redding was $1.54 a gallon for regular. In the People's Republic of San Francisco regular is about $1.99.
