    New Feature!

Check out the new Mullings Blog.

Take a look. It's pretty good.

  • " Mullblog ...": Please take a look at this. It is much more fun than I thought it would be. I think you'll like it. Let me know.

  • " Clinton Explanation ...": Here's the link to the NY Times op-ed by Bill Clinton explaining why he had to pardon Marc Rich.

  • " Nero Wolfe ...": Nero Wolfe was the main character in more than 70 mystery novels written by Rex Stout. Nero Wolfe was very ... heavy ... and didn't like to leave his brownstone in Manhattan. His alter ego - private detective Archie Goodwin - often described Wolfe as moving his lips in and out while he considered a difficult problem.

    Mullfoto of the Day

The bus parked just outside RFK Stadium for a Washington Nationals baseball game the other afternoon.

I don't know if I've told you this or not, but when the National Anthem is sung prior to any game at RFK, everyone in the press box stops and stands quietly until it is over.

A couple of weeks ago someone who was not a regular continued to type into his computer during the National Anthem. Someone standing in front of him turned, got his attention, and signaled him to stand up.

At the seventh inning stretch someone sings "God Bless America." Everyone in the press box stands for that, too.

We take our patriotism seriously at RFK.

    Catchy Caption of the Day

    Actual Caption:

Hades of sand : Dutch artist Jan Selen works on his sand sculpture featuring Hades, lord of the Greek underworld, and his three-headed hound Cerberus, at the Sand World festival in Luebeck-Travemuende, northern Germany.

You know? You'd think someone with that much talent would spend his time sculpting something more important: Female Beach Volleyball players.
