  • "... Bongos & Cigars ...": I would hate to have this phrase fade from general usage. When Bill Clinton was President and on one of his "US Apology Tours" this time, to Africa, he received word that some lawsuit or another which had been filed by some women he had abused in some way or another had been thrown out; or that he had won a summary judgement.

One of the networks got footage of Clinton dancing inside his room smoking a cigar and playing bongo drums in apparent celebration.

Where the hell was Michael Moore when we needed him?

  • "... Condi ...": This is a larger version of the note which passed between Dr. Rice and President Bush.

  • Mullfoto of the Day:

This street sign got my attention because it is sooooo non-politically correct. All streets which went nowhere used to be called "a dead end street."

Over the years the use of the word "dead" in relation to traffic seemed to be unwieldly at a minimum so somebody in the street sign division of the US Department of Transportation came up with a sign which says, "No Outlet."

In beautiful downtown Greenwich, Connecticut (pronounced, as you know, "GREN-itch") Dead Ends have survived.
