TITLE: "Who's Leading in the Women's Halfpipe?" The "Women's Halfpipe is an actual Olympic event. It's a snowboarding competition wherein the competitors go up and down the sides of what looks like a large - very large - pipe turned on its side and sliced in half. They do twists and turns and leap into the air.

I am torn on events like the Halfpipe. On the one hand I don't understand the need for it as an Olympic event. But that's probably what someone once said about every race shorter than the Marathon. On the other hand whatever the competitive endeavor, assuming it's lawful, if you can do it better than anyone else in the world you should get recognition.

But it seems old Al might have pulled a Doris Kearns Goodwin, because there is this quote from the Bible: O death. where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? -- I Corinthians 15:55
