- TITLE: "Voldemort" The arch villain in the Harry Potter books. Voldamort killed Harry's parents when Harry was a baby leaving him with the lightening scar on his forehead.
- "... Sir Thomas Malory ..." Here is a link to a short bio of Sir Thomas.
I didn't have any reason to single Malory out, other than I was looking for the type of obscure reference people who don't like Harry Potter like to quote at Washington cocktail parties.
- "... keys to the transition office ..." The General Services Administration, under Clinton/Gore control, forced the Bush team to use private funds to open a transition office so they could begin the complicated process of taking in resumes and filling appointed slots and would not be caught flatfooted when George W. Bush was officially declared the winner.
