    Mullfoto of the Day

This is the gift shop at Mt. Vernon - George Washington's estate - just south of Alexandria, VA.

About 80% of the stuff for sale (as you can see on the back shelf) has to do with peanuts, cookies, and candy (food) and wine (drinks).

It's amazing the United States ever got off the ground.

    Catchy Caption of the Day

    Actual Caption:

A model presents a creation for French fashion house Guy Laroche as part of their Spring/Summer 2007 ready-to-wear fashion collection in Paris October 7, 2006

It might be "ready-to-wear" but I don't thing she's ready to wear it.

    From Merriam-Webster's Third Unabridged:

    Emaciate

    1. To cause to lose flesh so as to become very lean
2 To make poor and weak or unattractive
