  • " 60,000 Barrels ... ": Here's the New York Times' analysis of the latest estimates of the spill rate in the Gulf of Mexico.

  • " Tom Raum ... ": Here's the analysis of the President's speech by the AP'sTom Raum.

  • " Mother Jones ... ": Here's the link to the instant analysis on the Mother Jones website.

  • " Hand/Face of God ... ": I spoke to God about this. He said it was fine either way. He appreciated the reference.

Actually, I knew it was "Face of God" but as I was typing, the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel popped into my head and "Hand of God" came out of my keyboard.

    Mullfoto of the Day

First, let me say that I pulled over before I took this photo which is from the Sirius satellite radio display on the dashboard of the MullFord.

The reason I took it was because I was listening to the '50's station and the Eydie Gorm (the MullFord doesn't diplay accents grave) song , "Blame it on the Bossa Nova" came on. Because of the limitations of the display it showed as "Blame it on the Boss" which I thought was funny enough to pull over and take this photo.

You, apparently, do not agree. Next time, I'm not pulling over.

    Catchy Caption of the Day

    Actual Caption:

A researcher collects oil for study in Bay Jimmy on June 15, 2010 off of Grand Isle, Louisiana. The United States will be fighting the oil spill "epidemic" for months and even years, President Barack Obama has warned, urging states to deploy thousands of National Guard to aid the battle.

And all those Census workers who will soon be out of work. We could use them, too.
