The Sun'll Come Out, Tomorrow
Wednesday June 6, 2001

  • TITLE: "The Sun'll Come Out, Tomorrow" The signature song from the 1977 Broadway musical "Annie!"
This is a comic cover of Little Orphan Annie and Arf, the Wonder Dog. *

This is an original Secret Decoder Ring!

  • "… at the MSNBC Mother Ship …" The main studios of MSNBC are in Secaucus, New Jersey. When growing up as a boy in the Midwest, I read about and dreamed about some of the magical towns of New Jersey: Hackensack, Secaucus, Hoboken, and the favorite of many: Whippany.
Unfortunately it was a very pleasant trip from start to finish. The planes were on time both ways, the limos showed up, the staff at MSNBC was helpful and friendly.
    Dammit!

  • "… I want to give credit …" Getting the information to be on television requires the cooperation of the people who have it. Many times, because of the short advance warning, I have to ask people to be interrupted from meetings, meals, or days off.
In nearly every case the person from whom I have needed information has either come to the phone immediately, or has called back in a timely manner.
They don't have to do this.
