    When I was a kid, growing up on Long Island, one of the Sunday comics I eagerly awaited was "Dick Tracy" because on Sundays there was a panel entitled "Crime Stoppers Notebook" with handy tips for young detectives like myself.

    Maybe the only "Crime Stoppers Notebook" entry I remember was one that suggested we be on the look out for cars riding low on their springs over the rear wheels.

    Why? Because there might be a STOLEN SAFE in the trunk.
