I note this, not as a finger shaken at Bill Kristol, but in admiration at someone who has successfully teamed up with an investor of that breadth.

"... both usages ..." The Intellectual Right, as in conservative; or The Intellectual Right, as in correct. I guess it could also be The Intellectual Right as in, its due or entitlement.

It became obvious, however, that the job needed someone with a stronger hand - and better ties to the DC intelligencia and Kristol took the job.
