    The photo on the left is from the Thanksgiving travelogue above. I had been in Iraq for about three weeks. The photo on the right is from downtown Baghdad after I'd been in Iraq for about three months.

    Notice any difference at all? I mean, not counting the gun under my left arm.


    Catchy Caption of the Day

    Actual Caption:

    Gender symbols. Two Australian police officers who told a prisoner his girlfriend was once a man were on Tuesday sentenced to 125 hours community service.

    I suspect there is more to this story than the caption implies but, still, it sounds like a pretty decent plot line for a Law & Order: SVU episode.
