- "… Rugby Players ...": In 1972 a Uraguayan rugby team was riding in a plane which crashed in the Andes Mountains. Of the 40-or-so people on the plane a couple of dozen survived the initial crash and 17 of those lived for nearly 10 weeks until they were rescued.
