    2 : praise given for achievement

  • "seven months to election day." Election day this year is November 7. The rule for election day is: The first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. The earliest date, then, can be November 2. The latest date is November 8.

  • "Al Gore used the very internet he invented…" I know that's not what Gore said, but it is now in the common lexicon and it will stay with him for the rest of his career.
