    Mullfoto of the Day

A demonstration outside MY Starbucks in Old Town Alexandria, VA last weekend. Seems that Starbucks refused to join with other commercial establishments forbidding the carrying of a weapon, even with a carry permit, so these people came to protest.

I asked one guy what it was all about. He said "Virginia has some wierd gun laws." I said, "You mean laws that are in line with that pesky 2nd Amendment to the Constitution?" He left.

    Catchy Caption of the Day

    Actual Caption:

Nicolas Sarkozy left interpreters befuddled at an environment conference in Paris when he said world leaders had been handed a draft text "similar to volapuk."

It turns out Volapuk is a language invented in the late 19th century by a German Roman Catholic priest, Johann Martin Schleyer, who dreamt of creating a universal means of communication.

Ok. Here's a basic rule for creating a universal means of communication: More than one person has to be able to understand it.
