  • " Washington Post ...": Here's the link to the WashPost piece on the DeLay announcment over the weekend.

  • " Gorbachev ...":
Mr. Gorbachev apparently had the type of birthmark known as a "port wine stain." According to the birthmark support Group.
A port wine stain is a birthmark of blood vessels under the surface of the skin that affects three people in every 1,000.
It is a red or purple flat area of skin which can occur on any part of the body, though 65% of cases appear on the face. It is present at birth and persists though life.

  • " wink-wink-nudge-nudge ...": A famous sketch by the Monty Pythons. It had to do with two guys sitting in a pub and one is trying to find out if the other's wife is a "goer." The script even reads funny. Find it HERE

    Mullfoto of the Day

Mullster Joel Schmeltzer sent along this photographic proof of his method of taking out the Christmas tree.

As nearly as I can tell, it includes stripping the limbs off the tree, putting them into a large (but assumedly empty) dog food bag, and then taking it all out of the house.

First, I am not buying a chain saw to take the tree down to its denuded trunk.

Second, I am not buying a dog.

Third, I have solved the problem. Next year I am super glueing each needle.
